Plot: Hongkong, the last night of British rulership. Two years later - Consul Han is living in Los Angeles with his family - Crime Lord Juntao takes revenge on him by abducting his young daughter Soo Yung. Han does not trust the FBI to do a good job and has Lee flown in from Hongkong to assist them. But the FBI officials do not want any help from outside and officially request help from LAPD, who are glad to get rid of Detective James Carter for a while, a big-mouthed work-alone cop who just can't be cool enough. His assignment is to keep Lee as far away from trouble as possible. But Carter and Lee don't like being put aside in that way and start working the case on their own.

Before I start reviewing the film I'm just going to say I am a Jackie Chan fanboy so just about anything he is in will be good in my eyes.

Review: I must say that I did thoroughly enjoyed this movie, the pairing of Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker is genius, some of the best and most humorous lines of dialog in the movie are improvised by these two's back and forth 'banter'. Without giving too much away Rush Hour has a shocking yet foreseen twist (as many films do) yet this cliche turn of events that would normally make me turn away from a movie still managed to keep me captivated. I love how Jackie does all of his own stunts in the movie, I always think that when actors do their own stunts it ads a certain kind of charm to the movie. Even the credits had me in stitches ! While watching the movie Jackie makes the stunts look easy but in the credits as with many movies Jackie is in we get to see Jackie messing up his stunts which always leave me in stitches.

So I will give Rush Hour a healthy 78/100

Introduction

Hi, let me introduce myself, I am "MovieManReviews"

I have an extensive movie collection and I have decided to start reviewing movies after i have watched them. I will be reviewing movies every 2-3 days. I will be reviewing a wide variety of movies from the golden oldies to present day blockbusters, no matter what genre i will review it. Now these reviews will be my opinion and not the opinions of other online movie critics also I will be giving the movies that i review a score out of 100 again these are my scores and no one else's. I can almost guarantee that people will not agree with my scores that is because everyone has a different opinion on movies, I could rate a movie a 1/100 and some one else may rate it 90/100. Please feel free to leave comments saying if you liked the movie or not and why you did or didn't etc... My first review that will come very shortly will be Rush Hour 1 (1998). If you would like me to review a movie leave a request in a comments and if i can get my hands on a copy of it i will certainly review it for you.
